The official trailer of Ritwick Chakraborty, Paoli Dam starrer Shantilal O Projapoti Rohoshyo has been unveiled by the makers on Monday and it has received good response from audience and Tollywood.
Going by the trailer, Ritwick plays Shantilal who is not a professional detective but he is a journalist in a newspaper. He turns out to be a detective when he gets involved in a mystery related to a superstar. Paoli Dam is playing the superstar role.

Meanwhile, this is not the the first time that Pritam Da Gupta has made detective thriller. Pratim’s earlier hits Saheb Bibi Golaam and Machher Jhol was also released in August.
Machher Jhol had done well on the box office and received a good response from the audience. It is considered one of the best films of Paoli Dam in her career. The film travels beyond food to highlight the complex nature of modern relationships. It focuses on ambitions which often faces wrath from old school thoughts and traditions. Ritwick essays his role of a Paris-based chef with consummate ease, shifting gear from being a popular chef, to a responsible child of his mother and lastly a puzzled son while facing his father.
